Over 1,000 athletes were honored for their work in the classroom and in the pool.
Huntington Beach, CA – September 5 – USA Water Polo is proud to announce the 2017-2018 Academic All-Americans. Congratulations to all the athletes recognized for their hard work in the classroom. Student-athletes needed a 3.6 GPA on a scale of 4.0 to qualify, those that received a 4.0 GPA were honored as outstanding achievers. A USA Water Polo Academic All-American is a student-athlete who has earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.60 or higher for the 2017-2018 academic school year; completed the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the spring of 2018; is a current USA Water Polo gold athlete member; and has competed in a USA Water Polo National Event during the 2017-2018 academic school year.
Congratulations to our Bishop O’Dowd Dragons and 2017-2018 USA Water Polo Academic All-Americans with Outstanding Achievement: #13 Colm Connolly (Alameda Water Polo Club), #20 Katie Rehberger (Alameda Water Polo Club), and #10 Remington Wood (Diablo Alliance).
