Sophomores Maile and Keale Young each took first place in the 2018 NorCal & Nevada State Power Tumbling Championships held on April 7, securing state champion titles. Maile took first in tumbling, with Keale placing second, to become state champ in that event. Keale took first in Double Mini and Trampoline, with Maile placing second in both, becoming the state champ in two events. The sisters have qualified for the USA Gymnastics Championships to be held in Greensboro, North Carolina, July 3-8, 2018.
