Members of Sisters of Success, with the assistance of our school community, raised $216 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer by selling baked goods on October 27, 2017. The next day, members of the O’Dowd cheer team attended the stride event, which took place at Hellman Hollow in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, to cheer on participants. They joined more than 7,000 walkers and runners who were there in memory of and in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The cheerleaders are pictured below with some of the survivors who made the walk.
