We welcome the challenges that this work entails. Bishop O’Dowd High School’s charism describes our commitment to the enactment of community in diversity, the active formation of strength of character in our students, and a conviction for the realization of social justice.
Accordingly, O’Dowd supports students who engage their minds and hearts regarding important issues and will guide and partner with its students in their expressive freedoms.
O’Dowd’s aim in the current socio-political context is to provide learning moments, to honor multiple perspectives, and to facilitate in its students the confident and reasoned ability to “speak with their own voice.”
