In May, just days before graduation, members of the Class of 2020 met with O’Dowd staff LizaDawn Aduviso, Meghan Wallingford ’89, and alumna Dana Young ’83 for a virtual LinkedIn Workshop. Seniors learned how to use LinkedIn to connect with their new alumni network of over 15,000 Dragons.
Senior Makana Young said of the experience: “It was nice to be able to come together with several of my classmates and get trained on LinkedIn. The session was helpful and fun. I feel like we all got a great head start on a platform I know I will use to further my career goals. The team provided useful guidance which I truly appreciated!”
Appreciation for O’Dowd’s Alumni Relations and Career Counseling was on full display at the session. Senior Brandon Frith showed his appreciation, saying, “The staff at O’Dowd is stellar because it put me ahead of the game.
