Why I Teach:

I have always wanted to be a teacher. I feel that it is an extremely rewarding vocation. I love teaching adolescents. I want my students to learn more about their faith which helps them learn more about themselves. I want to be a positive presence in their lives and encourage their ability to learn and grow.

Most powerful teaching technique:

I believe students learn best when they feel valued and respected. I think being interactive is my best technique.

Why are the subjects you teach important?:

Faith is part of everyone's life - we all have moments of great faith as well as moments of doubt. It allows all of us to learn more about God, the world and ourselves. Impacts ALL that we do.

Favorite quotes:

"It is a bewildering thing in human life that the thing that causes the greatest source of fear is the source of greatest wisdom." C. G. Jung

Favorite trivia:

My first language was Italian!

Recommended visual media:

Life is Beautiful, Dead Man Walking, Schindler's List

Recommended reads:

Most books that focus on philosophy, theology and psychology.
