DANCE

“The arts are the epitome of the creative spirit...they lead toward resolving conflict in the world by their perception of the human condition.”

Our emerging dance program offers students an exciting and supportive space to grow as dancers, creators, and performers. Through movement, students build strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while exploring a variety of dance styles. More than just technique, dance at O’Dowd encourages creative expression - dancers contribute to choreography, collaborate on music selection, and develop their own artistic voices. Students also gain insight into dance history and draw inspiration from past artists to inform their own work. Whether students are beginners or experienced dancers, they will find their creative voice and physical virtuosity in a welcoming and dynamic environment.
